Khalid Essa Buhumaid is the Chairman and one of the founders of Intertec Dubai.
Khalid played an important role in the growth and development of Intertec in Dubai. He also plays a major role in the strategic thinking for the organization.

Naresh Kothari is the Managing Director, President & Founder of Intertec.

He began his career with premier organizations like Engineers India Limited. Subsequently he moved to manufacturing organizations and then to IT companies in India for software development and project management. He was sent in 1981 to setup MMC Digital Systems IT operations in Singapore. He then moved to UAE in 1983 as project manager with Datamation Systems & delivered three large projects successfully. Naresh headed the first IT Solutions company in Sharjah from the start and grew the company as well as himself from there by building immense management, sales & technical knowledge in diverse areas of IT. In 1991, He launched his first successful business venture, Intertec Systems in Dubai.

Naresh did his BSc from Mysore University and went on to do his Diploma in Computer Science from DIMS in 1978. Naresh went on to complete a General Management certificate program from Indian Institute of Management (Calcutta) to gain management expertise. In addition to the basic education, during professional his association, Naresh has been through training programs with EIL, ORG, MMC, Platinum and Computer Associates on various domains.

Naresh is also a member of the Dubai Quality Group and Indian Business Professionals Council.

Shashi Ullal plays an active role as an advisor to the company as a member of the board.

Shashi’s career has spanned over 50 years (47 years in Information & Communications Technology). His most important recognition came from DATAQUEST & COMPUTERWORLD Magazines, which selected Shashi as one of the IT Men of the Millennium in the year 2000.

Shashi retired in 2002 as Vice Chairman, Hughes Escorts Communications Ltd. He had joined HECL in 1995 as President and Managing Director. He is currently, their Advisor, based in Mumbai. Shashi is also a director on Boards of six companies in the ICT space and played an active role on behalf of the ICT Industry at industry associations such as ASSOCHAM, CII & FICCI.

He was a Guest Faculty at Indian Institute of Management and other Business Schools and has been associated with Companies like IBM, HP, and Olivetti.

On the personal front, Shashi is a BA / BCom from the Bombay University. He is a practitioner of Yoga & Meditation for more than 50 years and is married, with three children and four grand children.
