Financial Services & Banking
To extend its services coverage to the banking sector, Intertec has recently aligned with companies to provide applications on BASEL II, Anti-Money Laundering, International Financial Reporting Standard (IFRS), Analytical Reporting tools, Asset Liability Management and Loan Management. With the strong expertise in infrastructure management and application implementation, these products enhance its position as a serious IT partner for the financial industry. To augment skills offered to customers, Intertec has acquired Banking domain experience in its internal team from companies such as ICICI Bank.
Intertec has implemented some major projects in the Banking sector such as:
- First IP call centre in Bahrain with Invita, Bank of Bahrain and Kuwait’s call centre subsidiary.
- Plan, Design and deployment of IT Security infrastructure for RAK Bank.
- Design and deployment of centralised Desktop management software integrated with security suite to improve service level and protect the internal users from external threats Dubai Islamic Bank.
- Planning and deployment of FrontRange HEAT, an ITIL compliant IT support software, for Commercial Bank International.
- Datawall’s project to present market information to customers in a clear and readable format and implementation of IPO printing solution for Union National Bank.
Government
Increasing government specific solutions, Intertec has forged an alliance with Jadian Enterprises targeting the Compliance and Inspection Department. This is in line with the government e-services initiatives to equip employees with state of the art technologies to enhance the customer services and accuracy & transparency of information flow. Intertec has also taken initiatives to build bilingual Microsoft .net skills to extend its support to the sector.
Intertec has implemented some major projects in this sector such as:
- Department of Medical and Health Services, Dubai (DOHMS) for Enterprise Asset Management solution that assists over 500 engineering professionals to provide timely maintenance support for over 25,000 assets spread in 3 hospitals and 21 clinics. Second enterprise project was to deploy LANDesk to centrally manage IT support services for over 3000 desktop users.
- Ministry of Labour, Dubai for a Compliance Management System for the inspectors using Jadian enterprise solution. Amongst other projects, we also deployed LANDesk solution to manage service level for their Desktop and servers spread over a network of over 30 locations.
- Sharjah Municipality for deployment of complete security infrastructure and managing it for three years.
- ADNOC, Abu Dhabi’s largest oil company, for their IP contact centre and IBM Content Management System to improve document flow and facilitate faster invoicing.
Large Enterprises
Intertec has a strong base of large enterprise business customers in U.A.E. and India. It has always been a strong solutions provider in this segment owing to the strong product management teams for its breadth of enterprise solutions.

SMB as a sector has extremely varied requirements and system integrators are realising the growing potential within this sector.
