Intertec organised a sales kick off meet, which brought together the various teams on a common platform
The Sales Kick-Off Meeting of Intertec Systems was held at the Oceanic Hotel, Khorfakkan on February 10 -11, 2007. The objective of the Meeting was to share with all the employees some of Intertec’s success stories in sales and Best Practices developed over the years.

The meeting started with presentations of various case studies that not only talked about company’s success stories but also served as a stepping stone in learning some well-tested techniques and Best Practices developed by the various teams of Intertec. The presentations were made interesting, thanks to the blend of creativity and professionalism used in preparing them.

The ITSM team bagged the top honours at the event. This team, which was unanimously adjudged as the best by the judges and audience, walked away with AED5,000. The Security team was adjudged as the second best team and awarded a cash prize of AED3,000.

We also had the pleasure of inviting two guest speakers, who provided an overview of the current trends in their respective sectors. While Mr. Jamal Saleh-Manager of Commercial Bank of Dubai, Risk Management talked about the extensive challenges and opportunities in the banking sector, Mr. Peter van Veyeren from ATS stressed the need for Business Continuity Management in today’s competitive environment. Mr. Shashi Ullal conducted a brief session on the importance of yoga and meditation in our daily lives.

Second day of the Meeting was dedicated to team-building exercises. The attendees actively participated in the different team-building games that were organized.

This event wouldn’t have been successful without the efforts of our front desk team of Regina and Nory, who ensured that every minute detail was taken care of at the venue.
