Infor races ahead with Nakheel

Nakheel Dubai`s premier property development company will deploy Infor EAM Enterprise Edition( formerly Infor EAM DataStream7i) Nakheel is creating some of
the world’s most ambitious projects, including The Palm Trilogy, the world’s three largest man-made islands.
The challenge was to manage millions of assets, that is, both Nakheel’s and third parties’ assets, across a number of master planned communities and ensure that these meet customer service agreements. Nakheel selected Infor because it supported the organisation’s vision to provide a fully integrated EAM system that would ensure all service requests meet time and quality requirements. Infor demonstrated strong technical expertise in leading complex projects and will partner with Intertec Systems its Dubai-based partner.
The EAM solution will track maintenance service requests for a property development and management portfolio worth in excess of $30 billion. It will also provide a system to control, automate and measure the performance of all of Nakheel’s enterprise assets and those it manages on behalf of third parties.
Deploying this solution will enable more than 5,000 Nakheel users to track and record service requests from customers. Nakheel needs to ensure its assets at its developments and those it manages on behalf of third parties, ranging from bridges to air conditioning systems are serviced quickly. To do this Infor EAM will integrate with Nakheel’s call centre, CRM and contractor and building management systems to provide the company with a holistic view of its assets (both owned and those managed on behalf of third parties) and maintenance processes.
Through an online portal Infor will also provide Nakheel’s customers with the ability to check the status of work requests and scheduled maintenance. Nakheel will also be able to streamline and escalate service requests through workflow and provide management reports based on compliance and service level agreements (SLAs). In addition Nakheel will have a complete register of owned and managed assets with details on individual suppliers and the specification of spares.
