DOHMS floats Dhs20million project on managed services

Managed services project worth over AED20M floated by DOHMS awarded to Intertec Systems
A contract of this amount was awarded to Intertec Systems, an IT solutions provider with clients and implementations across GCC and India.
An agreement for the managed services project was signed at a ceremony held on March 26 between Dr Essa Mohammed Kazim assistant director general (Medical Affairs) and consultant surgeon (Urology), Dohms and Khalid Essa Bu Humaid, chairman, Intertec Systems LLC.
The project will help the Dohms to enhance usage of information technology within the organisation, thus increasing its service levels – an objective set by Dohms. The objectives of Dohms include service improvement, service flexibility, cost reduction and cost transparency and remediation of current services issues and thus improvement of customer satisfaction at all levels.
Dr. Kazim said this step comes under the care given by the service to provide services to clients privileged under the expansions in continuous service and develop new services which are subject to retention challenges to win confidence clients and prejudice to efficient level of service provider.
Commenting on the awarding of the project to Intertec Systems, Sina Khoory, IT director, Dohms, said: “It has been our endeavor to provide the best of healthcare facilities to the residents of Dubai at a most efficient level. This managed services contract is a step forward to be able to fulfil our objectives.”
He added: “Intertec Systems has been our business partner for sometime now. They have proven time and again their experience and commitment in delivering the best, always. We are certain that Intertec systems will do a good job for just signed project.”
