Sharjah Municipality successfully completed ITIL V3 training for its staff in line of its commitment to provide better IT services to internal and external customers. The ITIL training was organized by Intertec Systems in partnership with QAI.
Dubai, April 2008: The IT department of Sharjah Municipality successfully completed ITIL V3 training for its staff in line of its commitment to provide better IT services to Sharjah Municipality, both for internal and external customers. The ITIL training was organized by Intertec Systems in partnership with QAI India.
Ms. Farida Abdelkarim Al Yaffai, IT Director of Sharjah Municipality, stated on the completion of ITIL training, “We as an IT department at Sharjah Municipality have taken a giant step towards embracing the industry acknowledged Good Practices in Service Management, i.e. ITIL framework. We look forward to build upon this and reach our vision of achieving ISO 20000. We look forward to a burgeoning relationship with Intertec Systems and QAI.”
As part of this endeavour, the entire IT Team comprising of fifty IT specialists from Sharjah Municipality received the ITIL training. The training itself was carried out in 2 batches with each session spread across 3 days covering the ITIL V3 modules.
This training will help the IT team deliver better IT service and support, adhere to the ITIL standards and incorporate the good practices in the day to day IT operations.
